Surfing at the Bahia Surf Camp Brazil

BAHIA SURF CAMP BRAZIL

Surf camp in Brazil. In a private area are the Bahia Surf Camp.

The Camp is near the Salvador Airport. They offer you to pick you up, but I don’t remember the price.

You have everything you need. Three big and fine meals. The beach in front of the door and surfboards for free disposal. The Surf camp offers 2h surf lessons per day. Depending the conditions you will be surfing in the morning or afternoon.

The surf teachers are specialists in their field and divide all into the appropriate level. It was a lot of fun to learn with them. The beach is gorgeous, as no one can enter the private area. Perfect for chilling with your camp mates after a surf and enjoying the nice sunsets.

When eating breakfast, monkeys will normally join you and say hello with their little babies on their backs. What an experience.

The high plateau Brazil!

Hi everyone! A short blog about our first days on discovery tour.

At the beginning at our trip through the nature of Brazil we first spent 2 nights at a finca near a high plateau. Waking up within the jungle is kind of impressing!

We headed down the bumpy roads and made our first stop near a little waterfall just a 30 minute walk away from the car. On our way we passed by some nice animals that were worth photographing. It was heating up really fast, so we were happy to walk under the trees to our stop. The nature of Brazil never fails to impress.

Here some photos I took from the animals.

The high Plateau

Later on we made our way down to the high plateau 615-544-0039 , walking in the midday sun. It was all worth it!

Birds flying around, a mesmerizing view hundreds of meters down the plateau and the quiet sound of the waterfall. An endless world, still untouched what makes this even more special.

As a refreshment after the walks under the burning sun we cooled down ourselves in a little lake. you could slip down the rocks in the middle of the waterfall, luckily nobody got hurt since the rocks were kind of sharp!

After swimming around and enjoying our afternoon we went back to our finca. Since it started to rain there was nothing more to do then chill out in my hammock.

The next day we drove to our next destination. This blog is coming up soon!

So thanks for reading my blog and I hope to see you again on my channel.

Skyscrapers of São Paolo Brazil

I have never seen so many skyscrapers in my entire live!

Hi everyone! My next post is about my Brasil trip!

On our trip through Brazil we stayed for 2 days in São Paolo. With the surrounding neighbourhoods the city counts 30 million inhabitants and is so far the biggest of them all.

São Paulo is also the economic centrum of Brazil and stands out for its traditional architecture. It is for sure worth a weekend trip or 2-3 days visit.

Within walls and buildings there are still a lot of places to explore like parks, shopping malls, restaurants and trendy areas. You like Chinese food? Just visit the Chinatown. You like to party? Just visit the area around the Paulista Avenue! We stayed at a big Airbnb apartment near to all nice parts of the city.

Skyscrapers everywhere!

There are more than 1000 buildings higher than 100 meters, so to really get a view over the city and be able to realize how big this metropolitan city really is, you have to get on top of one of the skyscrapers.

In the centre we managed to take an elevator up the floors to be overwhelmed from the view.
This are pictures we took from up there. I mean how is this even possible? It’s hard to imagine for a Suisse guy like me that cities like this exist. Switzerland has around 9 million inhabitants and this ‘’City’’ over 14 million.

@ivansnz weh had a great time!

So thanks for reading my blog and I hope to see you again on my channel.

Roadtrip Brazil and the sold out festival!

Carneiros Beach Brazil

So after São Miguel dos Milagres we drove up and stopped at the Carneiros Beach.

This beach is like all of them really beautiful, but to get in you have to pay an entrance fee to enter through one of the clubs (big restaurants), and inside they want you to stay at their place for the rest of the day.

In the 20 seconds walk to the beach you will be asked 10 times if you want to sit down for a drink , do a boat trip or buy some souvenirs.

It really annoyed me. Since we didn’t eat breakfast we walked around to check for a nice place to fill our stomachs. Finally we found a hotel which offered breakfast. It was delicious!

Strengthened and happier than before we walked up 20 minutes to check the area for a nicer place to stay than our entry restaurant. We finally laid down at a beach bar which was really chilled and stayed the whole afternoon! The water was crystal clear with white sand as far you can see.

Later on we continued our trip to the final destination Maracaipe and Porto de Galinhas. We stayed at a nice hotel right at the beach.

The sold out Festival!…

As soon as we arrived, we went for a walk along the beach,  to get to know the area. So, just a two minute walk from our hotel, there was this huge festival stage. Of course we all wondered what was going on here at night. As soon as we came back to the hotel we immediately checked it and it turned out to be what we thought, a huge festival that started the next day!

So let’s go PARTY GUYS! Don’t think so, it turned out the other way…

There was no single page with available tickets, all sold out. Shocked but still with a good feeling about it, we left our hotel the other night, believing that there must be a ticket switch to buy tickets directly at the festival. We walked around 30 minutes within hundreds of beautiful single girls heading to the festival we desperately wanted to enter. ‘So I am not sure if the girls were all single, but since I was the only one of us without a girlfriend I was kind of daydreaming!

We soon realized that there was no ticket switch or any other way to get our way in to that festival. Over the fence maybe? Running in? Dig a whole? I WAS FREAKING OUT!

The sad ending of the story was, that we didn’t make it in. With a kind of bad mood we went for dinner, drank some bears and that was it. Just heard the music from far away while trying to sleap later that night.

Surfing at Maracaipe, or at least one of us!

The other day it was all better, perfect weather, surfing and enjoying some bears at the beach made our stay worth it. @Ivansnz took some waves while we drank some bears and enjoyed the view.

@ivansnz Surfing those waves like a pro!

Maracaipe has surfboard rentals right at the beach. At Porto de Galinhas which is the town right next to it, you can find a lot of surf stores as well. There will come a video soon about those places!

Thanks for reading and voting for my Blog, each vote no matter how small makes the difference!

The Iguazu Falls

Iguazu falls

This is me standing in front of the Iguazu Falls. or in Portuguese: Foz do Iguaçu.
in size the BIGGEST waterfall in the world!
The Iguaçu Falls or in Portuguese: Foz do Iguaçu is the world biggest waterfall. The waterfall is situated right on the boarders between Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. Precisely there is an Argentinian and a Brazilian side of the falls.

The tour to the Iguazu Falls

There are different ways to explore this amazing place. Entering the park there are busses waiting for you which pick you up and brings you to a platform where you have an awesome view on the Iguazu Falls. This platform is right in front of the Belmond Hotel das Cataratas. From there you can walk straight down some pathways and stairs to the Foz do Iguaçu area. From this area a huge lift brings you up to the Restaurant's: a fast food restaurant and a buffet style restaurant. Or before taking the lift make sure to walk out the footbridge which brings you to the perfect spot right where the biggest Iguazu falls crash into each other. This spot is called Devil’s Throat.

How to get to the Iguazu Falls?

We went on a travel Bus from Londrina. It was pretty comfortable to sleep in the Bus for 7 hours and then we arrived. But you can easily go on a plane from São Paulo directly to the city of Foz do Iguaçu. There is a little Airport. Our stay was in the city of Foz do Iguaçu too, you don’t need to stay in park itself. From the City you can easily get to the park and the Iguazu Falls with public transportation.

Pelourinho, old town of Salvador, in Brazil.

One Building stacked on the other. The Streets drops down and goes straight up again, like a wave made out of stone. An impressive view along those buildings. The facades are painted in beautiful colours, shining bridely in the sunlight.

Strolling along Pelourinho is an unforgettable experience!

Whitehaven Beach

Whitehaven Beach in Whitsunday Islands near Airlie Beach, Australia

Whitehaven Beach is located on the Whitsunday Islands. We sailed for three days and two nights around those Islands. If you don't struggle getting seasick i recommend to take more time exploring these beautiful islands. But you can even get in a one-day trip to the Whitehaven Beach. You have different pricing options from huge partyclippers to romantic private catamarans. Choose whatever fits you best.

Depending the tide, Whitehaven Beach looks different and appears as a piece of art, created by nature. The different depths  by the sandbank creates colorful shades of blue. A viewpoint on the island lets you observe the changing spectacle.

Christ the Redeemer

Booked a tour up to the hill where the proud christ is standing. Pick up at the hotel lobby. A bus ride trough the Tijuca jungle. Seeing a lot of exotic animals. Getting closer to this monument. parked near the top. Choose the stairway or the lift to get up to the platform. Get a stunning 360 degree view over beautiful rio de Janeiro. Perfspots aproved
